According to Wikipedia, User Interface Design is the design of computers, appliances, machines, mobile communication devices, software appliances, and websites with the focus on the user's experience and interaction.
The goal of user interface design is to make the user's interaction as simple and the efficient as possible. Interface designers will design the product's interface to be more user friendly and helps people such as disabled ones to use the products.
As an example, this is a design of a MP4 player. The button is designed to be pop-up compared to normal MP4 players. When we are adjusting the volume, the pop-up button is easier for us to adjusted compared to press button.
This is a keyboard that is specially designed for blind people. Blind person can touch and feel the surface of the keyboard. Therefore, blind people are able to have a digital life like us too.
